January, 2008 - Successful technology transfer.
Cleveland Biosensors completes the first rapid prototyping cycle of a new microfluidic cartridge involving exclusively local Brisbane manufacturers. Whilst some microfluidic devices will still be rapid prototyped in Germany (IMM), this new capacity provides Cleveland Biosensors with increased flexibility and shorter development times.

December, 2007 - Proof-Of-Principle of new user interface.
Cleveland Biosensors demonstrates the successful integration of a new prototype user interface in the current BioFiniti® platform, providing a user-friendly sample introduction in parallel with reduced manufacturing costs.

October 15, 2007 - Cleveland Biosensors appoints Design Manager with international experience in Medical Devices.
Stuart May, with nine years design experience from product definition through to manufacture, is a great addition to our team. His career has focused on the design of diagnostic devices including microfluidic, lateral flow and glucose sensors.

August 08, 2007 - Brisbane Technology Park Industry Tour for Secondary Students.
In association with the Australian Institute for Commercialisation’s Education Department, Cleveland Biosensors hosted a group of secondary students from a number of schools in the Brisbane area as part of the Brisbane Technology Park Industry Tour. This is one of the initiatives from the Science in Parliament programme, where the industry is being promoted through many such events.

July 25, 2007 - License extension granted.
Cleveland Biosensors announces the granting by Micronics (Washington) of extended licensing terms for some of the microfluidic technologies used in the BioFiniti point of care cartridge and reader platform. These extensions clear the way for extending BioFiniti applications from water and environmental testing to the human and veterinary healthcare markets. This is an important milestone for new projects that integrate third party detection systems with the BioFiniti platform. July 15, 2007 - Successful capital raising.
Cleveland Biosensors closed its current round private capital raising. Funds will be dedicated to the development and commercialisation fo the BioFiniti® platform.

April 19, 2007 - 39th Oak Ridge Conference.
Cleveland Biosensors was invited to present its BioFiniti® platform at the exclusive annual Oak Ridge conference organized by the American Assocation for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) in St-Louis Misssouri entitled "Harnessing New Technology for Clinical Diagnostic".  [Link to Medical Device Daily article]

Cleveland Biosensors today announces its relocation from Toowong to the new Brisbane Technology Park Center For Innovation at Eight Mile Plains. The new building provides state of the art laboratory facilities co-located with the company's head office.
